The existing Veterans Monument would be incorporated into a prominent position as a foreground to the Flagpole. The following drawing provides a notional concept. The original monument replica in front the pole provides better optics of ceremonies during holiday remembrances. A planter seat wall known as the Honor Wall provides seating with a raised flower garden. It also provides the opportunity to implement a Memorial Wall Tile program. The Honor Wall honorees are in a position of high visibility in keeping with the larger donor contribution on behalf of the named honoree.

The design places pavers around each of the monuments that can be inscribed under the Memorial Paver program. Additional areas along the trail could be considered for pavers. The area in front of the flagpole itself would only be incorporated into the paver program when the areas along the trail are first filled.
